Clotex-HUB had the opportunity to join a large-scale international event Citе IA Summit, Lille, which took place on July 1, 2025 in the French city of Marcq-en-Barœul, near Lille, in the modern space of Cité des Échanges. The participants of the summit from EDIH Clotex-HUB were project coordinator Oksana Zakharkevych and project manager Yulia Koshevko. This summit became a key platform for discussing the possibilities of artificial intelligence (AI) in the transformation of business, industry and society as a whole.
The event brought together over a thousand participants from France and other European countries, including representatives from businesses, government agencies, research organizations, and technology companies. The summit focused not only on demonstrating the technological potential of AI, but also on strategic exchange of experiences, forming cross-sector partnerships, and promoting responsible innovation.
The official program of the event included plenary sessions, practical workshops, thematic panels, an exhibition area and a dedicated networking space. Participants discussed the impact of AI on areas such as energy, transport, supply chains, healthcare, education and, of course, industry. Significant attention was paid to ethical issues, regulatory aspects and social responsibility in the implementation of artificial intelligence.
Key speakers included influential figures: Clara Chappaz, French government representative for digitalization, Xavier Bertrand, President of the Hauts-de-France region, as well as executives from ENGIE, SNCF, Orange Business, Le Parisien, Eramet, and others. Their speeches addressed both strategic challenges and specific cases of successful use of AI in real business.
A separate focus of the summit was the positioning of the Hauts-de-France region as a European leader in the development of territorial AI ecosystems. The idea is to create a model of interaction between the state, business and science that allows for the implementation of innovations quickly, effectively and taking into account the needs of specific territorial contexts.
Clotex-HUB’s participation in this event allowed us to delve deeper into the European AI discourse, to assess the areas in which intelligent systems can be applied in industry from design to production and supply chain management. The summit was an excellent opportunity to present our experience in digitalizing the industry, establish new international contacts and seek partnerships within the framework of the EDIH (European Digital Innovation Hubs) initiative. This experience confirmed that the future of industry is inextricably linked to intelligent technologies, and Clotex-HUB is ready to be part of these changes – both at the national and European levels.
The summit provided an opportunity to present the activities of Clotex-HUB within the framework of the initiative EDIH (European Digital Innovation Hub), which opens up prospects for new collaborations within the framework of EU grant programs, in particular in the field of AI for industry.
Clotex-HUB will continue to focus on the integration of intelligent technologies in the economy. Participation in the summit became an impetus for expanding cooperation with AI ecosystems in Europe, developing new training programs and launching joint experimental platforms for the implementation of innovations. We are convinced that artificial intelligence is the future of industry, and Clotex-HUB strives to be among the leaders of this digital transformation.
