GDT TEXTILE: RESULTS OF THE FIRST YEAR OF IMPLEMENTATION OF THE ROADMAP FOR THE DOUBLE TRANSITION OF LIGHT INDUSTRY

The first year of implementation of the Project Roadmap GDT Textile became an important stage in forming a systemic vision of the digital and green transformation of light industry in Ukraine. The document, developed within the framework of the European initiative to support the dual transition, brought together representatives of business, clusters, expert circles, innovation hubs, and educational and scientific institutions.

During the first year of implementation, a series of analytical studies, expert discussions, and industry events were conducted to assess the level of digital maturity of enterprises, outline the main barriers to transformation, and formulate practical recommendations for business. An important result was the consolidation of industry players around a common vision for the future of the textile and clothing industry.

Lyudmila Bukhantsova actively participated in the implementation and discussion of the results of the GDT Textile Roadmap, joining the expert dialogue on the development of the light industry ecosystem, the role of clusters and innovation hubs in supporting enterprises on the path of dual transition. Her contribution was aimed at strengthening the interaction between education, business and innovation infrastructure, which is critically important for the sustainable development of the industry in the face of modern challenges.

The final conference dedicated to the first year of GDT Textile implementation confirmed the relevance of the Roadmap as a practical tool for planning changes in light industry. Participants emphasized the need to move from a strategic vision to specific pilot projects aimed at digital modernization of production, reducing environmental impact and increasing the competitiveness of Ukrainian companies in the European market. For CLOTEX-Hub the results of the first year of GDT Textile are an important reference point in further work with light industry enterprises. The Hub continues to support the implementation of the Roadmap provisions, contributing to the development of digital competencies, technology transfer, and the formation of a sustainable innovation ecosystem in the industry.
