Representatives of CLOTEX-HUB participated in an international online training session organized by the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), focusing on modern approaches to textile recycling and the development of a circular economy in the textile industry. The event brought together academics, researchers, and specialists from across Europe to discuss practical solutions that are already helping to reduce textile waste and improve resource efficiency.
During the training, participants explored European practices for organizing the collection, sorting, and reuse of textile materials, as well as modern fiber recycling technologies and new approaches to creating more resource-efficient production processes. Significant attention was paid to innovative solutions that help light industry enterprises transition to circular economy models and meet modern environmental standards.
Participation in international training events gives the team the opportunity to CLOTEX-HUB to familiarize themselves with best European practices and cutting-edge approaches that could benefit Ukrainian light industry enterprises. The knowledge gained will facilitate the development of the hub’s services, particularly in areas such as the digital transformation of production, the implementation of innovations, and the enhancement of enterprise competitiveness. CLOTEX-HUB will continue to actively participate in international training programs and expert events, expanding cooperation with European partners and fostering the adoption of modern technologies and innovative solutions within Ukraine’s light industry.
