On May 9 and 10, the Future Fashion Forum began in Lviv — the first interactive event in Ukraine, bringing together manufacturers, designers, innovators, and educators to shape the future of Ukrainian fashion.
Among the forum participants is CLOTEX-HUB, which introduced itself as the first digital hub in the light industry sector in Ukraine.
🌐 Digital breakthrough from CLOTEX-HUB
Oksana Zakharkevych, coordinator of the CLOTEX-HUB project, gave a report, telling about CLOTEX-HUB, which became the first hub of digital solutions for light industry in Ukraine, what services are available to enterprises: digitalization of processes, personnel training, technological support, access to infrastructure, mentoring, how specialists are trained and retrained according to the requirements of digital fashion, how enterprises can obtain international funding and grant support, what digitalization tools allow them to reach a new level and remain competitive in the world of fashion that changes every day.
“Modern light industry is not only about fabrics and design, it is primarily about technology, data, speed of adaptation and sustainable development,” the speaker noted.
🤖 AI-SORTEX — a startup from the future
Another innovative report at the forum was given by Lyudmila Bukhantsova, associate professor of the Department of Sewing Product Design Technologies. Khmelnytskyi National University. She presented the startup AI-SORTEX — an intelligent textile waste sorting system.

- Uses computer vision, machine learning, and high-precision cameras;
- Identifies the color, texture, and raw material composition of textile materials;
- Sorts waste automatically, without human intervention.
