EDIH CLOTEX-HUB AT EU INDUSTRY DAYS 2025

On June 5-6, 2025, one of the largest annual industrial events – EU Industry Days 2025 – took place in the Polish city of Rzeszów, with the support of the Polish Presidency of the Council of the European Union. This flagship event of the European Commission brought together leading representatives of industry, politics, the expert community and business to discuss the challenges and opportunities facing European industry against the backdrop of a transformational economy.

The EDIH project coordinator participated in the event Clotex-HUB Oksana Zakharkevych and project manager Yulia Koshevko, who had the opportunity to participate in a wide range of events, which included strategic panels, exhibitions, and individual expert consultations.

The EU Industry Days 2025 program was rich and diverse. The main topics covered four key areas:

Competitiveness and decarbonization: the focus was on developing clean technology markets, strengthening the circular economy, infrastructure solutions, and strengthening the single market.

Innovative industry: ways to reduce investment risks, support for startups, development of key technologies, as well as improving the skills of the workforce were discussed. Industrial security and reducing dependencies: significant attention was paid to the topics of defense capability, critical raw materials, and reconstruction of Ukraine.

International Partnership and Ukraine's Recovery: On the second day of the event, an important discussion took place on how Ukraine can strengthen the competitiveness of the EU, with the participation of representatives of the UN and the Ukrainian Ministry of Economy.

Of particular note is the exhibition area, where innovations from various European companies and organizations were presented, as well as the area for expert consultations and partner search, which contributed to networking and expanding opportunities for further cooperation.

Other interesting topics covered in the panels include:

– “InvestEU as a driver of innovation”,

– “The Future of the EU Textile Sector”,

– “Advanced manufacturing and clean technologies”,

– “Skills for Innovation: Regional Success Stories.”

Participation in this event was a valuable experience for the project representatives, providing an opportunity to get acquainted with new business support tools at the European level and establish important contacts with European partners.
