Researchers from Khmelnytskyi National University successfully presented eco-friendly and digital innovations at the Joint 16th CLOTECH & 3rd CBI Conference, held from September 15 to 19, 2026, at the Higher Technical School in Katowice, Poland. Professor Olga Paraska, Head of the Department of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, and PhD student Vita Nehorui introduced European colleagues to developments in eco-friendly textiles based on biosurfactants as well as the activities of EDIH CLOTEX-HUBfirst digital hub—which assists textile industry enterprises in implementing artificial intelligence and VR technologies.
Specifically, the hub facilitates the digital transformation of light industry enterprises by enabling the testing of innovations (AI, VR/AR) prior to investment, providing training in digital skills, assisting with securing European grants, and integrating businesses into the international ecosystem.
