On June 9-10, the CLOTEX-HUB team participated in the EDIH Summit 2026, a key event for the European Digital Innovation Hubs (EDIH) network, which took place this year at the SQUARE Congress Center in Brussels. The summit brought together representatives of the European Commission, EU Member States, digital innovation hubs and leading participants in the European AI ecosystem.
The main topic of the EDIH Summit 2026 was scaling up the adoption of AI technologies in small and medium-sized businesses, as well as in the public sector. Participants discussed practical tools for implementing new European initiatives in the field of AI, in particular the Artificial Intelligence Act (AI Act), the Continental AI Action Plan and the Apply AI strategy.
The first day of the summit was dedicated to the future of the EDIH network and its role in shaping the European AI ecosystem. Representatives of the European Commission presented a vision for the further development of the network, and participants joined thematic discussions on the challenges and opportunities that artificial intelligence opens up for business, public administration and society.
Among the key topics of the event are the cooperation of digital innovation hubs with AI Factories, the development of tools to support the implementation of AI solutions, updated approaches to evaluating EDIH activities, as well as the use of digital technologies to achieve sustainable development goals.
Separate thematic sessions were dedicated to the digital transformation of healthcare, the agri-food sector, and cybersecurity — areas that remain among the priorities for Europe's digital development today.
An important component of the EDIH Summit 2026 was B2B meetings and networking events, which allowed participants to exchange experiences, establish new contacts, and discuss prospects for future cooperation between digital innovation hubs from different countries.
For CLOTEX-HUB, participation in the summit was an opportunity to join the formation of the European agenda in the field of artificial intelligence, expand the partner network, and obtain up-to-date information about tools to support the digital transformation of business.
The knowledge and contacts gained during the EDIH Summit 2026 will contribute to the further development of CLOTEX-HUB services and help Ukrainian enterprises integrate more effectively into the European digital ecosystem.
