The Clotex-HUB project team took part in the Future Fashion Forum, the first interactive event in Ukraine dedicated to comprehensive research and shaping the future of the fashion industry. The event took place on May 9, 2026 in Lviv. The event brought together scientists, designers, futurologists, technology experts and representatives of creative industries to search for new points of interaction between fashion, science, technology and art.
The initiator of the large-scale forum was the Ukrainian Fashion Education Group, which created a platform for open dialogue about global challenges, digital changes, and innovations in the fashion sector.
During the discussions, participants discussed current trends and challenges in the industry, including:
- the impact of artificial intelligence, blockchain technologies, biodesign and wearable-tech on the development of the fashion industry;
- the role of climate change in the transformation of production and consumption;
- digitalization of production processes and implementation of innovative solutions in light industry;
- new formats of cooperation between business, education and technological ecosystems.
Special attention was paid to the issues of digital transformation and the development of innovative approaches in light industry by Oksana Zakharkevych, coordinator of the Clotex-HUB project. During the forum, she spoke about the importance of integrating digital solutions into production processes, supporting craft manufacturers, and creating an effective fashion ecosystem through partnerships and international cooperation.
Clotex-HUB's participation in the Future Fashion Forum became an important opportunity to exchange experiences, present Ukrainian initiatives in the field of digitalization of light industry, and establish new partnerships for the further development of the innovative fashion ecosystem.
The Clotex-HUB team continues to work on the development of digital innovations, international cooperation, and strengthening the competitiveness of Ukrainian light industry.
