The team from the CLOTEX-HUB European Digital Innovation Hub participated in an international mission to Brno (Czech Republic) held as part of the International Industrial Fair Brno 2026 (MSV 2026)—one of Central Europe’s largest industrial trade fairs. For the hub, this was an excellent opportunity not only to explore the latest technological solutions but also to find new partners and exchange experiences with representatives of the European innovation ecosystem.

The visit program was packed with activity. Participants visited the Czech Republic’s national pavilion and attended its official opening, which was joined by the Czech Minister of Industry and Trade, Karel Havlíček. The exhibition once again confirmed that digitalization, automation, and cybersecurity are currently among the key areas of development for European industry.

The CLOTEX-HUB team was particularly interested in companies and organizations operating in the cybersecurity sector. Participants had the opportunity to explore modern technological solutions, engage with experts, and discuss approaches to protecting corporate digital infrastructure. This experience is especially valuable for the development of the hub’s services, as cybersecurity issues are becoming an integral part of business digital transformation.
The "Contact>Contract" international B2B meetings became a key part of the mission. It was here that initial introductions took place, shared ideas were discussed, and opportunities for future collaboration were explored. Such meetings offer the chance not only to expand one's professional network but also to find partners for implementing new international projects.

A dedicated day was set aside to explore Brno’s cybersecurity ecosystem. Representatives from CLOTEX-HUB visited specialized organizations that support the development of innovations, technology companies, and startups, and gained insight into how collaboration between business, universities, and government institutions is structured in the Czech Republic.
The visit concluded with an introduction to the Botanická Living Lab—an innovative space where the Brno Regional Chamber of Commerce, Industry Cluster 4.0, and representatives of South Moravia’s cybersecurity sector collaborate. Such venues demonstrate just how effective the interaction between science, business, and innovation clusters can be for the development of modern industry.

For CLOTEX-HUB Participation in international missions is, above all, an opportunity to learn, exchange experience, and build partnerships that subsequently evolve into joint projects. The new contacts, ideas, and practices gained during the visit to Brno will help further develop the hub’s services and support Ukrainian light industry enterprises on their path toward digital transformation and integration into the European innovation ecosystem.
